👈 Official Responses: 0 -> leaseweb.com) announced on Thursday plans to expand its service range through a new partnership with network service provider Mzima Networks (mzima.net).
Under the new partnership, Ubiquity will expand its services into Seattle, Washington, Los Angeles, California and New York, New York, expanding upon its existing services in Chicago, Illinois and Dallas, Texas.
"Don't be fooled, the new locations aren't really about diversity, they're about consistency," says Mike Miller, support engineer at Ubiquity. "We want our clients to feel comfortable knowing they can expect the same options, same reliability, and the same friendly support staff everywhere. We want them to expect the same solid, route-optimized network, running from the local technology hub of each major city to guarantee the lowest possible local latency and reliability, which squares with our 100 percent uptime service level agreements."
In order to pre-empt the expected increase in demand for the company's newest locations, Ubiquity says that it will likely be selective about which customers can receive services in Seattle, Los Angeles and New York until at least the end of January, limiting first availability to early adopters and previous clients before all services are made public.
