enStratus Expands Cloud Management to Australia with Cloud Central

📅 - Addition of Cloud Central gives company's customers an Australian point of presence for their cloud deployments.

enStratus Networks LLC, a cloud infrastructure management solution, yesterday announced that it has added support for Cloud Central, an Australian-based cloud infrastructure provider, which recently launched its beta solution. The company avers that the addition of Cloud Central gives its customers an Australian point of presence for their cloud deployments. With this combination, Australian companies can now leverage the power of cloud computing with enterprise governance while keeping their system data inside Australia.

It states that Cloud Central is Australia's first provider dedicated solely to providing the best on-demand infrastructure solutions in the cloud. By adding Cloud Central to its supported list of clouds, its customers get a cloud provider for applications that need a presence in Australia.

The company further states that customers in Australia now have access to a cloud infrastructure management platform for deploying and operating their enterprise-class applications in Cloud Central and a range of other public and private clouds. With enStratus, customers gain governance capabilities including role-based security, auditing and financial controls. Customers can also immediately incorporate the automation engine including auto-scaling, automated recovery and automated backups.

"We are thrilled to add Cloud Central to our growing list of supported clouds," said David Bagley, CEO of enStratus. "Adding a presence in the Australian market is important to us and our enterprise customers as cloud computing continues to grow around the globe."

"Cloud Central is excited to be working with enStratus to bring cloud management and governance to our enterprise customers," said Kristoffer Sheather, Founder & CTO of Cloud Central. "With enStratus, our customers will also benefit from having the ability to manage Cloud Central and other private and public clouds with one unified solution."
