Reliam, Inc., a provider of complex application hosting and Internet Application Management (IAM), yesterday announced the availability of R1Soft Continuous Data Protection (CDP), robust backup software that will offer customers a more comprehensive backup service with an extensive selection of data retention capabilities.

The company articulates that integrated with its current fully-managed backup service, the new CDP backup technology brings clients bare-metal restore capabilities, a broader set of Windows backup features, and MySQL database protection. R1Soft's Bare-Metal Restore feature enables the company to recover from potential full system failures more rapidly by simply selecting any point-in-time backup to restore and skipping the O/S reinstallation step.

It avers that the company also joins the R1Soft Hosting Partner Program (R1HPP), qualifying for special volume discounting and access to a large collection of marketing and sales resources, among other exclusive benefits.
