Horizon Data Center Solutions, a facilities-based colocation and IT service company, yesterday announced that FiberLight, LLC, a optical networking provider, provided it a 10 Gig Ethernet network with dedicated IP Services. It says that the new infrastructure will enable its clients to efficiently connect to their Tier III+, SAS 70 II data centers from any location and will provide a 5 9's fully redundant network architecture to ensure optimum uptime.
The company states that it serves a diverse customer base including clients in the federal government, financial, healthcare, entertainment and retail industry. It further states that in addition to colocation, it offers private FlexSafe Cloud computing services and FlexStor, a new suite of storage services which provides a wide range of data backup and replication options to facilitate business continuity and disaster recovery.
