DATACENTER Luxembourg Launches Virtual Infrastructure based on VMware vSphere 4

DATACENTER Luxembourg, a data center services and managed hosting provider, today announced the launch of its new Virtual Infrastructure product based on VMware's industry-leading virtualization and management suite, VMware vSphere 4. The company states that its new product is designed to provide a higher level of security, reliability and performance than the traditional hosting products. This new service is available to all, from standard customers to resellers and partners.

It further states that through the implementation of VMware's vSphere 4, its customers will gain greater control and flexibility. They will have their own management interface to select the amount of CPU, memory and storage they need. Besides, the data is stored on a SAN-based storage system for enterprise-class reliability.

Lorenz Meis, Sales Director of DATACENTER Luxembourg, explains, "The introduction of the VMware vSphere 4 suite was an essential move for us, and will contribute to the maximization of our customers' uptime. We have also integrated the VMware Fault Tolerance in order to eliminate any downtime and even the smallest data loss or disruption. This extra feature is crucial for us and will become a key strength for our customers."
