Apr, 2009 : SingleHop Releases SSL Virtual Private Network

📅 - Allows clients to control servers through a secure access point by connecting to its Private Network.

SingleHop, a managed web-hosting provider, today announced the release of a SSL Virtual Private Network offering. The company claims that the SSL-VPN solution allows clients to control servers through a secure access point by connecting to its Private Network, released last week.

It avers that the new SingleHop SSL-VPN offers tremendous levels of security and flexibility through:
  • Array Networks' SPX-Series, which offers best access control
  • Hardware accelerated sessions
  • Network access through Thin-Client session
  • Session monitoring, with paper trail for all activities and IP's
  • Limiting server access through the secure back-end SSL-VPN only
  • Providing split-tunnel, Layer 3 mechanism to allow simultaneous connections without sacrificing security
According to Andy Pace, SingleHop VP of Operations, ''we chose to use Array Networks' SPX-Series gateway because it allowed us the most robust management capabilities. We know that clients are always looking for ways to do more, faster and, unfortunately, for our times, do it safer. Our partnership with Array Networks allows us to provide all these benefits to our clients without any sacrifices.''
