Feb, 2009 : Appliedi.net Sponsors Web Design Challenge

📅 February 19, 2009 - Windows-based hosting provider Applied Innovations (appliedi.net) has become the exclusive hosting sponsor of Microsoft's (microsoft.com) PhizzPop Design Challenge, a web design and development competition touring six cities in five months.

A Microsoft Gold Certified provider of ASP.NET Microsoft SQL Server, Shared, dedicated, VPS, and Application Hosting solutions provider, Applied Innovations signed on as a sponsor relatively late, with the competition staring in November 2008 and running until March. The tour has already stopped in New York, Chicago, and Minneapolis, and will arrive in Los Angeles, Miami, and Austin in the coming weeks.

At each stop, agencies compete to design the best custom Microsoft-based solution to solve a unique design challenge. Prior to each event, teams are trained on the newest Microsoft technologies. PhizzPop also offers an online competition that is open to the greater public.

As the hosting sponsor for the event, Applied Innovations is offering free hosting to all PhizzPop contestants for their applications during the competition.
