The company selects vendors with software and services that appeal to Applied Innovations customers, such as pay per click advertising, .NET components, marketing tools and Web design tools and offers negotiated discounts. Currently, the marketplace contains nearly two dozen special offers and savings can range from $10 to $300. In some cases, services are provided completely free of charge for a period of time. Specific details are available in each Marketplace listing.
"Our Marketplace provides an opportunity to use the collective buying power of our customers to secure special discounts and savings on popular software and services," says Jess Coburn, CEO of Applied Innovations. "We seek discounts on software and services for which our customers are likely to have interest. The Marketplace also allows eager vendors to showcase their newly released products to our customers."
Applied Innovations recently began supporting development framework ASP.NET 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008 on all of its hosting plans.
