The move is an integral part of the company's strategy of attracting and retaining key talent. Superb has already filled multiple key senior management positions with whom the company refers as "extremely experienced and talented individuals who will help take the company to the next level."
"We are pleased that in an era of economic uncertainty we are in a position of continued strong growth, remain profitable and are (as we always have been) 100 percent debt free," says Haralds Jass, Superb president and CEO. "We are very pleased to offer our valued employees an alternative to the normal benefits associated with corporate life. The health and well-being of our employees is very important to us, and we are confident that the move to Honolulu will have a significant effect on productivity, innovation and team cohesiveness - and will also accordingly result in an even higher level of service for our customers."
Among the new senior level executives named is the company's new director of marketing, Dale Bunten, who will lead the global marketing communications efforts and support the move into more advanced hosting services. Bunten has eight years of sales and marketing experience in the web hosting industry, having served in senior level positions for NetNation Communications, Hostway and Reliant Web Hosting (Canada Web Hosting).
George Allen has been named director of sales and director of professional services, a role in which he proposes to build a world-class sales organization, and a strong and comprehensive professional services division. According to the press release, Allen has had "decades of programming, sales, marketing, and management experience in successful high technology companies," serving in senior roles such as VP of sales and VP of marketing
Brian Alexander has been named director of systems engineering, where he will help design and implement advanced hosting solutions for enterprise level customers, as well as build and maintain Superb's hosting infrastructure. He has over a decade of experience from building, directing and managing large-scale global properties for Dell.com, to managing the largest public grid computing project on the Internet.
Matthew Putegnant is the new director of development and brings with him 20 years of advanced software development leadership and management experience, delivering enterprise solutions for small engineering firms and large telecoms alike. He is responsible for all phases of Superb's software development activity, including business process modeling, requirements, analysis and design, implementation, testing, configuration and change management, and deployment.
Patrick Ahler has been appointed to director of business development and operations manager for Hawaii. He has 12 years of advanced technical experience primarily in the field of systems administration and web technologies.
Jason Wong has been named director of human resources, a position in which he will recruit, hire, and retain quality personnel to support the company's rapid growth, on a global scale at all of Superb's locations in five US states and in Canada. His experience spanns the real estate, finance, banking, computing, and human resource sectors.
Finally, Curtis R Curtis, the current VP of sales and marketing, has announced his resignation, effective December 30, 2008. Last week, software developer NEMediaSoft named Curtis the company's new chief sales and marketing officer, where he will help promote the company's SEO software suite, RankSense.
