📅 - Data center and managed services provider Hosted Solutions (hostedsolutions.com -> hostinger.com) has added the National Football League's Atlanta Falcons to its client roster.
According to Hosted Solutions' announcement Wednesday, the Falcons chose the company's hosting for its online store, falcons365.com (falcons365.com), because of Hosted Solutions' reliability in providing enterprise-class hosted solutions.
Hosted Solutions will also provide the football club with a fully managed backend infrastructure including bandwidth, security, network, dedicated servers, Microsoft licenses and backups.
"Hosted Solutions is highly regarded nationally as a data center and one of the most trusted companies in this industry," Atlanta Falcons new media director Dan Levak said in a statement.
Hosted Solutions regional sales manager Josh Wolff said the company is excited to become a part of the Atlanta Falcons community. "It is always an honor to be chosen by nationally-known brand that is so well respected throughout the country," he said.
The Atlanta Falcons is the latest sports company with which Hosted Solutions has become involved. The company also hosts security solutions for "authentic grassroots soccer and lacrosse company" Sports Endeavors (sportsendeavors.com).
"Hosted Solutions meets our needs on every level," Sports Endeavors vice president Darryl Goebel said in a statement. "They are local, customer focused, [and] responsive to our needs."
With the implicit emphasis on loyalty in sports and athletics, sports team affiliations can help build a data center brand.
In August, Florida-based web hosting provider Spiderhost brought an Atlanta data center online to complement its Florida hosting during the hurricane season. Spiderhost provides hosting to the Orlandgo Magic and the Florida Gators.
