Jul 16, 2008 : Chinook Adds Formotus Mobile Apps

📅 July 16, 2008 - Software as a Service host Chinook Hosting (chinookhosting.com) and mobile business mobile business solutions developer Formotus (formotus.com) have reached a joint marketing and sales agreement that will that will add Formotus' mobile offerings to Chinook Hosting's suite of hosted applications.

According to the announcement Wednesday, the new partnership will introduce Formotus' mobile applications solution to Chinook Hosting customers and Formotus will cross-market Chinook Hosting services.

Formotus co-founder and chief technology officer Adriana Neagu said the company is excited about the new relationship. "The Formotus solution runs out-of-the-box with Microsoft SharePoint, which makes it a perfect complement to Chinook's hosted application suite," Neagu said in a statement. "Businesses will be able to quickly and easily extend the benefits of a hosted application suite to their Windows Mobile devices with our cost effective mobile solution."

Chinook Hosting vice president of sales Tim Ritchie said Chinook Hosting has significantly expanded its suite of hosted applications available to resellers and looks forward to continually adding new SaaS applications to increase the scope of its offerings.
