May 15, 2008 : LogicBoxes Offers Reseller Promo Engine

📅 May 15, 2008 - Domain registrar and web hosting software provider LogicBoxes (logicboxes.com ) reported on Wednesday that it has built a promo engine for its registrar business automation platform.

The company's software operates the back ends of the domain registration systems for more than 60 registrars and thousands of web service providers.

According to the release, the promo engine will enable them to automatically proliferate sales promos for various top-level domains as they happen, and to distribute those discounts directly to the end customer and ascribe a fair profit margin for resellers at every level.

"The unique selling proposition of the promo engine is that it ensures registrars make the best of each sales promotion campaign," said Bhavin Turakhia, CEO, LogicBoxes. "It does so by automatically disabling the promo price, for any opportunistic reseller who chooses to pocket the discount, instead of passing it on to his customers. By this, every Reseller is incentivized to remain in line with the underlying goal of every sales promo, which ultimately is an exponential boost in volumes and increased market share."

LogicBoxes is the software development arm of the broader web services firm Directi (directi.com), whose other projects include hosting reseller service ResellerClub and information site Webhosting.info.
