📅 March 26, 2008 - Microsoft Exchange hosting reseller groupSPARK (groupspark.com) announced it is now offering Windows Service Pack 1 for hosted SharePoint 3.0, which includes new enhancements and upgrades.

GroupSPARK resellers will now be able to offer hosted Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 SP1 to businesses previously unwilling to use the initial version of hosted SharePoint. The collaboration tool provides small and medium-size businesses with a central repository for their employees to share project schedules, create lists of data, update files and share ideas.

Hosted SharePoint's Web-based interface enables departments, project teams and remote employees to collaborate by using their hosted SharePoint site as a central hub to exchange data and information, as well as launch and update Web pages, intranets and photo libraries.

"Many businesses traditionally do not jump right into new versions of software," says Ravi Agarwal, CEO of groupSPARK. "They wait until the first service pack is released to take advantage of the upgrades and enhancements that Microsoft makes available. Our resellers now have the opportunity to offer hosted Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 SP1 to those companies who have previously been reluctant to use the earlier version."

The company provides resellers with for private labeled software as a service solutions, including Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services v3.0, and Dynamics CRM. Earlier this month, the company began offering the beta release of Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
