Mar 13, 2008 : Host The Best Adds ResellWHM Script

📅 March 13, 2008 - Software developer and Web hosting provider Host The Best (hostthebest.com) announced on Thursday it has released its ResellWHM script, enabling Web host resellers to individually offer reseller hosting.

ResellWHM is backed by the WebHostManager control panel system, enabling users to create a simplified version of the interface so that hosting resellers can manage their own reseller program. The script is available for $24.99 per server for an owned license, which also includes a year of updates and support.

"Our script fills a need that has frustrated users of the cPanel/WHM system for many years," says Andy Candelario, director of business development for Host The Best. "By creating an additional level of resellers, we open new possibilities for existing resellers looking to offer value-added reseller programs themselves or wanting to access WHM through a simpler, easier-to-use interface. It is a simple concept that has sparked a lot of interest."

ResellWHM offers both a master reseller section and an administrator section. The master reseller section enables users to create, delete and suspend cPanel accounts, while the administrator section enables users to add and remove reseller packages, add and edit pricing information, manage master resellers and update announcements and customer support information.

The script requires servers to be running RedHat/CentOS Linux with Apache 1.3.x and PHP v4.3 or higher, as well as cPanel/WHM control panel system with root access.
