📅 - Telecommunications provider Verizon Business (verizonbusiness.com) announced on Monday it has promoted Richard G. Black to senior VP of sales in its corporate and government markets division.
In this newly expanded role, Black is responsible for overseeing all corporate accounts in Verizon Business' Northern and Western US regions.
"Rich has continually demonstrated success growing our corporate accounts, and this promotion recognizes his unwavering dedication to his customers," says Steve Young, group president of corporate and government markets for Verizon Business. "Expanding his focus across the corporate and government markets segment will help us achieve even greater results."
Black has been with Verizon Business for eight years, having previously served as regional VP for Verizon Business' Midwest region. Prior to that, he was the regional VP for Verizon Business' Southeast region.
Verizon Business announced last week it has begun offering a virtualization service to its enterprise customers.
