📅 - Canadian software company WiseNav (wisenav.com) announced this week it has named Greg Olson to board of directors, as the company prepares for worldwide expansion. Olson is an experienced high technology executive with over 27 years relevant industry experience with major US technology companies.
Olson will lead WiseNav and assist with further funding opportunities as it expands into the US market. As a senior executive at open source business consultancy firm Olliance Group, he has led engagements for major companies such as Microsoft, Palm and Barclays Global Investors.
Prior to Olliance Group, Olson was chairman and EVP of business development with Sendmail, a company he founded and served as CEO. He continues to serve on its board of directors.
"Greg will be a great asset," says WiseNav board member and CEO Mike Hensman. "He has just the skills and experience required for a software vendor that is breaking the mould in website development."
