The company says that its sale is planned just in time for e-commerce websites to renew or add important protections for their customers during the holiday season rush.
Hostway is offering customers a selection of 40-bit and 128-bit certificates with reduced prices starting at $79 for GeoTrust's QuickSSL certificate. Each one carries a one-time $50 setup fee plus the yearly price. Customers who order a new SSL certificate or renew now lock in the sale price for one full year, says the company.
Last month, Hostway began offering no-risk pre-registration for the .asia top-level domain. Registration for the new TLD officially opened for governments and trademark holders in October.
