📅 - Colocation and Web hosting provider Zogmo (zogmo.com -> hostinger.com) announced on Wednesday it has completed the rewrite of Med DataLink's Patient Care System from its former website (neurosentinel.com) to its new site (meddatalink.com). The process took almost nine months as Zogmo worked with Med DataLink to update the old system by rewriting the code and overhauling the site's old processes.
Med DataLink says that its former Web hosting provider could not meet its performance needs, nor provide the proper security to comply with the latest HIPPA requirements. As a result, Zogmo is managing nearly all of Med DataLink's technology needs, providing the company with fully managed colocation services, local Internet service, backup and complete code development services.
"For companies like Med DataLink, their Web site may be the only opportunity that the organization has to make contact with its customers," says Linn Boyd, Zogmo's VP of operations. "We take very seriously our commitment to making certain our clients' systems are available when their customers need to access it."
Med DataLink required its applications to be colocated on servers in a highly secure facility. The servers are located in the same building as Med DataLink's offices, and feature redundant electric power, multiple load-balanced fiber-optic Internet service providers and redundant real-time data backup systems.
