📅 September 11, 2007 - Web hosting provider ProService Hosting (proservicehosting.com -> hostinger.com) announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Canadian Web hosting provider ViscoLink.

This acquisition significantly increases the market share of ProService Hosting while providing former ViscoLink customers with a range of new services. The acquisition was announced to ViscoLink customers in advance and all transitions have been completed, says the company. "I'm very excited about the new opportunity that this acquisition has provided to our company," says Christopher Cook, vice president of operations of ProService Hosting. "I know that our new customers will be pleased with the quality of support that they receive. We treat every interaction with our customers as an opportunity to prove our dedication and professionalism. We expect them to be nothing less than exceptional."

The Washington, DC-based ProService Hosting offers a range of services, including shared hosting, reseller hosting, domain registration and management, SSL certificates, Web design and development and dedicated servers.
