📅 - e^deltacom (edeltacom.com), the Atlanta-based data center solutions division of ITC^DeltaCom, Inc., yesterday announced that its server co-location and Internet Data Center services have achievedcertification under the SunTone Certification and Branding Program(sun.com/suntone).

e^deltacom provides hosting and services solutions to ASP, ISP, andtraditional "brick and mortar" customers via its 376,000 square feetcarrier-class data center facility. e^deltacom provides a complete set ofmanaged and professional services, including proactively monitoring theavailability and behavior of the data center and facilitating constantconnectivity to the Internet.
The SunTone program, led by Sun Microsystems, Inc., is a collaborativeindustry effort to define best practices and audit solution providerinfrastructure, operational practices, hardware, software, and overallservice delivery. SunTone certification provides a quality "seal ofapproval," confirming that e^deltacom meets stringent scalability,availability, reliability and performance standards necessary for qualitydeployment of Web-based services.
