March Networks Delivers Transportation Security DVR Solution

📅 September 28, 2001 - Ottawa-based March Networks Corporation (marchnetworks.com)has announced that it is launching a new Digital Video Recording solutionfor transportation security applications. The March Networks 4120 DigitalVideo Recorder will be publicly demonstrated for the first time in NorthAmerica at the American Society for Industrial Security annual conference inSan Antonio, Texas, Oct. 1-3, 2001.

The March Networks 4120 DVR has been specifically designed fortransportation security installations and is ruggedized for operation inthese environments by meeting the stringent BRB/RIA, EN and IP65 standardsfor temperature, shock and vibration, electromagnetic compatibility, andwater and dust ingress. The unit's ability to withstand extreme operatingconditions means it can operate in mobile applications for rail, bus, andpublic safety vehicles, as well as in severe industrial settings.
