Verio Offers Quantified's Urchin Web Traffic Reporting Software

📅 October 12, 2001 - Verio Inc. (verio.com ), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (ntt.com), has reached an agreement with Quantified Systems, Inc. (urchin.com), to offer Urchin 3 Web traffic and e-commerce reporting to Verio's hosting customers. This arrangement provides Verio's customers with an advanced reporting tool to manage their Web sites.

"Urchin combines top-flight performance with a robust and feature-richfront-end, allowing us to focus on our core functions and continue tosuccessfully meet the Web statistics demands of our customers," said DougSchneider, president of Verio's Small and Medium Enterprise Hosting. "Thesystem's multilingual functionality, e-commerce reporting and scalabilityare important to our operations and service offerings."
Quantified says its Urchin 3 will save Verio customers time and effort, andhelp them assess their success on the Web. Clients will receive Web sitetraffic reports through their browsers, avoiding time-consuming downloads.
"With in-depth and easy-to-understand Web traffic reporting,Urchin is wellsuited for Verio's diverse hosting customer base," said Jack Ancone,Quantified's EVP of corporate development. "As Verio serves customersranging from smaller businesses to larger global enterprises, Urchin willprove useful to these companies in optimizing their sites and improvingtraffic and sales."
The Web-based system reports on all facets of Web site traffic includingreferrals, search engine keywords, and time spent visiting. Urchin is alsoflexible, allowing users to view site activity over specific date rangescorresponding to promotions or other marketing campaigns, and can producereports in up to 10 languages, including certain double-byte Asianlanguages.
