Sierra Wireless and Peripheral Corner Sign Distribution Agreement

📅 November 22, 2001 - Sierra Wireless (sierrawireless.com) announced yesterday that it has signed a distribution agreement with Peripheral Corner(peripheralcorner.co.uk), a division of Fracom Components International Ltd., an independent component distributor based in the United Kingdom.

Peripheral Corner will distribute the Sierra Wireless AirCard 750, atri-band wireless PC Card operating on the GSM and GPRS networks, to theEuropean market. Peripheral Corner has also placed a purchase order withSierra Wireless and product will be commercially available in the firstquarter of 2002.
The Sierra Wireless AirCard 750 wireless network card provides end userswith seamless wireless connectivity to the Internet, e-mail, and corporateapplications on the fastest GPRS network registration lines. Wireless widearea network solutions allow companies to extend corporate applications totheir mobile workforce and will be a useful tool for users who travel andwork outside the office and require wireless access from notebooks, laptops,and Personal Data Assistants.
