Genuity Provides Infrastructure for PwC Consulting's B2E Solution

(genuity.com), a provider of Internet infrastructure services and e-business network platforms today announced that PwC Consulting (pwcconsulting.com), a business ofPricewaterhouseCoopers, has named Genuity as the managed services andnetwork infrastructure provider for its Business-to-Extended Enterprise(B2E) solution. Genuity will provide customers with ongoing integratedmanaged hosting, managed access, and managed security services in support ofthe solution using its Black Rocket platform.
B2E is a single channel for instantly communicating with global employees.It serves as a portal-based platform and program for moving work to the Web.

The B2E solution set enables Genuity and PwC Consulting to provide globalenterprises with one, integrated solution comprised of network capabilitiesintegrated with consulting, managed hosting, managed access, managedsecurity, and software applications. This level of integration allows keybusiness resources to securely link to the enterprise and access informationanytime and anywhere.
A dedicated Genuity B2E sales team will work with the PwC Consulting B2Eteam on joint sales opportunities. Genuity's eServices organization willprovide counsel and technical infrastructure support for consultingengagements, and Genuity's program office will be responsible for supportingB2E customers, initiatives and sales. Once implementations are complete,Genuity will provide ongoing management for B2E customers' networkinfrastructures and hosted applications.
