📅 - EDS (eds.com) today announced $250 million in contract signings with clients around the world.

The contracts announced today, terms of which were not disclosed, include:
A five-year agreement with Home Depot to upgrade its Canadianpayroll system and migrate its U.S. and Puerto Rico subsidiaries to theimproved single common payroll platform. EDS will also assume payrollprocessing responsibility for Home Depot's Canadian, U.S. and Puerto Ricosubsidiaries in 2002's first quarter. The agreement will enable Home Depot'spayroll department to deliver single system-driven payroll check processesfor all North American employees.An expanded agreement with BellSouth under which EDS will provideadditional mid-range systems management services. As a result of theagreement, EDS will assume responsibility for operating BellSouth's InternetDelivery Services Group in Tucker, Ga.An eight-year extension with Telecom New Zealand to supply andmanage 7,400 desktop PCs and laptops. The agreement will allow Telecom togain efficiencies and cut costs in its managed work environment.New agreements for eBreviate enterprise procurement and sourcingtools with Aquanima in Spain and ProcuraDigital in Latin America. Theagreements contributed to the most successful month in the history ofeBreviate, an eSourcing leader and part of the new A.T. Kearney ProcurementSolutions unit. In November eBreviate signed more new business and moreglobal contracts and delivered more cost savings to clients than in anyprevious month. In addition, the new accounts moved the company's customerbase to 101.
