📅 - Radware (radware.com), a major provider of Intelligent Traffic Management (ITM) solutions, announced today the release of their new SSL Accelerator, which is capable, in conjunction with Radware's other ITM solutions, of scaling up to over 20,000 SSL transactions per second.
Known as the CertainT 100, the new accelerator is based on a hardware platform designed for intensive applications. The new product works by performing SSL encryption and decryption for the server it is attached to, rather than having the server CPU handle all the calculations.
When the CertainT 100 is deployed with Radware's Web Server Director, a Web based management tool, the accelerator can be remotely configured and monitored over any standard browser. The product is also designed to work with as many as 99 other Radware devices in a pre-existing network topology, allowing added scalability and flexibility.
