Jan, 2002 : AT&T Provides Hosting, Co-Location to eUniverse

📅 January 17, 2002 - eUniverse, Inc. (euniverse.com), an interactiveentertainment network, and AT&T (att.com) today announced that they haveentered into a strategic alliance. The three-year co-location and hostingcommitment will help eUniverse scale its business to reach a larger audiencewhile reducing hosting costs, the companies stated.

"With more than 50 million unique visitors around the world coming to ournetwork each month, eUniverse needs to partner with only the biggest andbest host," said Brad Greenspan, chairman and CEO of eUniverse. "AT&T is theperfect partner because it provides the quality hosting and services thatwill help us reduce our running costs and grow our business to the nextlevel."
Under the terms of this agreement, eUniverse will become an AT&T GoldMember, which will increase brand recognition, extend eUniverse's marketreach, and include it in the AT&T online ASP Catalog and specialized use ofthe AT&T logo on promotional materials. Through the Gold Membership,eUniverse also will have access to seminar planning assistance and fundingsupport and will be featured in an in-depth profile in AT&T online or printmedia and a tele-briefing of AT&T sales professionals.
