Jan 31, 2002 : FastNet Completes SuperLink Acquisition

📅 January 31, 2002 - FastNet Corporation (fast.net -> hostinger.com), an Internet communications,consulting, Web hosting and colocation provider, announced the acquisitionof SuperLink Internet Services (superlink.net), headquartered in East Brunswick, New Jersey. SuperLink currently offers service throughout thenortheastern New Jersey region, including New Brunswick, Red Bank,Parsippany, and Newark.

SuperLink has an entrencheddedicated Internet access customer base, which includes large corporationsand governmental entities. FastNet's decision to acquire SuperLink was basedon its size and coverage area. As a result of the acquisition, SuperLink customers will be able to use thecomprehensive business solutions available from FastNet. In addition tonetwork power, customer service, and a Class A colocation facility,solutions such as managed security, hosting services, e-solutions, businesscontinuity services, network design and engineering services, are nowavailable to SuperLink customers.
