Myrient bundles service products to provide cost-effective data storage solutions

📅 - Myrient, an outsourced IT solutions provider, announced today that it is bundling its ZIPBackup on-line backup solution and broadband access services. In an effort to entice small and medium sized business clients, the bundling product will respond to the growing need for cost-effective broadband and managed storage and disaster recovery.

The monthly cost for Myrient's bundled product will cost approximately the same amount other providers would charge for broadband access or online data storage alone.
"We already have fully outsourced end-to-end IT solutions available, and with these advanced bundled solutions we further help our customers to build a reliable outsourced IT infrastructure that they wouldn't be able to afford otherwise without a provider like Myrient," said Jim Ferguson, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Myrient.
Few companies provide preventative disaster solutions, rather, they deploy insurance policies in the event that a disaster should occur.
"Traditional tape backup strategies don't deliver the speed, consistency or scale needed to recover and compete in a real-time manner. Myrient's offering delivers those capabilities for key applications, and can serve as the foundation for an enterprise-wide business continuity strategy," stated Bryan Turbow, President and Chief Technology Officer, Myrient.
ZIPBackup is an alternative to expensive and complex backup technologies, off-site data storage, and data archive solutions. Data is sent over the Internet, through a dedicated connection or through a CentraPath Virtual Private Network connection to Myrient's secure storage network. Users have instant access to any version of their data from any location. Additionally, ZIPBackup involuntarily adjusts the distribution of bandwidth during data delivery to prevent other critical data communication sessions from slowing down or being interrupted.
