Feb 28, 2002 : BTOpenworld Cuts Broadband Prices


📅 - BTopenworld (btopenworld.com), Britain's largest broadbandISP is set to cut the cost of its consumer DSL service by £10, to £29.99 amonth.

Today's announcement follows yesterday's news that BT Wholesale will lowerthe wholesale cost of DSL to under £15 a month. The UK ISP also announcedplans to introduce a self-install version of its DSL product, which it hasbeen touting for several months. Named "Plug & Go," the new self-installproduct will be available starting March 5.
As part of a special offer, the company says it will waive the £65activation charge for orders received before May 31.
BTopenworld's £29.99 price point is the same as the one announced by ISPFreeserve yesterday.
