📅 March 20, 2002 - Digex, Incorporated (digex.com), a leading managed hosting provider, announced on Tuesday that it will deliver the managed hosting services to help Paragon Life Insurance Company, a Metlife company, move critical business applications to the Internet.

Digex says it will host and manage the infrastructure to support Paragon's Internet initiatives including online enrollment, customer service and eSignature solutions through a joint relationship with Perficient Inc. (perficient.com), a leading e-business solutions provider.
Paragon recently partnered with Perficient in order to develop a comprehensive e-business strategy and solution set, designed to deliver added value, build new efficiencies and differentiate its brand. The new solution, says Digex, allows Paragon to deliver an online service that places control in the hands of its clients, enabling them to enroll online, manage their accounts, use research reports and online forecasting tools and transmit legally binding documents through the Web.
The development and maintenance of the infrastructure to support Paragon's e-business, says Digex, is a critical aspect of the company's new operating strategy, as Paragon is now depending on the Web to help drive its core business.

And as with all Digex managed hosting solutions, says the company, the platform is supported by the WorldCom global network.
