Apr, 2002 : Digital River to Host And Manage Sevylor E-Commerce Site

📅 April 4, 2002 - Digital River, Inc., a global e-commerce outsource provider, today announced that it has built and launched an e-commerce site for Sevylor, a manufacturer of inflatable recreation products. Providing transaction management, customer service, physical product fulfillment, fraud screening and e-marketing services, Digital River (digitalriver.com) will host and managing the site.

Manufacturing more than 250 items, the 53 year-old, France-based company will sell everything from boats and kayaks, to floats and towables on the new site. Sevylor previously sold its products only to large distributors.
?This is Sevylor's first e-commerce venture and we are pleased to provide the company with a reliable and cost-effective e-commerce system and world-class infrastructure,? said Digital River's CEO Joel Ronning.
?The site, with an online outlet store that offers last year's products at a deep discount, is a new sales and distribution channel for Sevylor (sevylor.com), as well as a business growth opportunity.?
