Digital River To Provide E-Commerce Operations for infoUSA
📅 - Digital River, Inc., a global e-commerce outsource provider, today announced that it has signed a contract to provide complete e-commerce operations for the Consumer Products Division of infoUSA, a business solutions provider. Building a new e-commerce site for infoUSA's (datadiscusa.com) consumer products, Digital River provided hosting and managing services as part of the agreement. The company is also supplying transaction management, physical product fulfillment, 24/7 customer service, fraud prevention and e-marketing services.
Featuring best selling titles from infoUSA (infousa.com), such as Select Phone Pro, Business & Consumer Mailing Lists and Business Credit Ratings Pro, the e-commerce site will utilize cross sells and up sells as well as third-party promotions to help increase sales. ?We are outsourcing our e-commerce operations to Digital River (digitalriver.com) for two reasons. First, Digital River is clearly the industry expert. And second, it is more cost-effective for us to leverage Digital River's world-class infrastructure and its expertise than build an in-house solution,? said Bob Cortale, President of infoUSA's Consumer Products Division.
