Apr, 2002 : Alldomains.com Founder Re-acquires Company

📅 April 17, 2002 - Alldomains.com, a leading provider of corporate domain registration and management, announced on Tuesday that Chris Bura, who founded the company in 1996, purchased Alldomains.com back from privately held Internet infrastructure provider Hostcentric Inc. earlier this year.

Following re-acquiring the company, Bura will carry on as president and assume the role of CEO. Alldomains.com will continue to use Hostcentric as its hosting provider and that company will, in turn, outsource its domain services to Alldomains.com.
Under Bura's leadership, says the company, Alldomains.com has grown to become one of the leading providers of domain registration services in the world, focusing on international domains and corporate brand protection. The company was one of five that merged in May of 2000 to form Hostcentric, where Bura remained president of its Domain Division.
"The purchase of Alldomains.com was a simple decision for me," said Bura. "The business is self-sustaining, debt-free and well-positioned in the high-growth area of corporate domain and brand management services. In fact, this March we experienced our best month ever, largely driven by the addition of several new Fortune 500 accounts. We have the fundamentals and the momentum to execute our strategy. The re-purchase allows me to dedicate one hundred percent of my time and the business's resources into further growing the company I started."
Because of the company's growth, Alldomains.com has moved its offices from Pleasant Hill to downtown Concord, California, doubling its original office space. In addition to the move, says Alldomains.com, the company has redesigned its logo, along with launching a domain name legal portal.
The company says its future plans include unveiling new online brand management technologies and expanding its operations to include sales and support offices on the East Coast as well as Europe, Asia and South America.
