Rainfinity to Provide Globix Clients With Firewall Protection
📅 - Business continuity firm Rainfinity (rainfinity.com) said yesterday it had been chosen by Globix, a Web hosting and network services firm, to provide enhanced firewall services to Globix managed hosting customers.
Rainfinity said Globix purchased its RainWall offering on a license agreement, and will integrate it in to its existing customers' security solutions. RainWall provides improved network and firewall performance while preventing firewalls from becoming a bottleneck inside the infrastructure of an enterprise-level business. "RainWall was the preferred high availability solution as we found it to be the best product on the market for improving the performance and availability of firewalls," said Jacob Goldman, Vice President of European Sales of Globix. "It was also by far the easiest to use in terms of configuration, implementation and management." Rainfinity currently serves more than 250 Global 1000 customers, including Dresdner Bank, Boise-Cascade, Bayer Corporation and Harvard Medical School.
