📅 - Intelligent application switching developer Radware (radware.com) announced on Wednesday that it has introduced the latest version of its SSL Accelerator CertainT 100 ? 1600, which the company says can process twice as many transactions as competing products.
The new CertainT 100 ? 1600, says Radware, is designed to satisfy the needs of high throughput environments that handle heavy amounts of secure transactions. The CertainT 100 SSL encryption/decryption capabilities, combined with the company's application switching solutions, says Radware, ensure fast, efficient, continuous and secure completion of e-business transactions. The CertainT 100 provides high-speed SSL transactions while allowing Web servers to operate at peak efficiency.
"Our customers are excited over this new SSL platform, as it offers them the power to handle high levels of SSL transactions," says Assaf Ronen, VP research & development, Radware. "CertainT 100 - 1600 meets the growing demand for secure connections not only for e-commerce companies, but also for governmental and health institutions."
According to Radware, the new CertainT100 platform increases the product line's scaling flexibility, allowing customers to scale their SSL processing power in stages ranging from 400 TPS to 1600 TPS. The new addition to the line also allows customers to achieve more scalability with fewer devices, requiring less rack space and less management.
The CertainT 100, says Radware, can scale SSL transactions to 20,000 per second, making it the highest performing SSL accelerator.
Like all of Radware's devices, the CertainT 100 can be managed through the company's Web-based management applications, which allow for remote configuration and monitoring.
