May, 2002 : MSP Association Announces Six New Members

📅 May 21, 2002 - Managed service provider industry consortium the MSP Association (mspassociation.org) announced on Tuesday that it is continuing its growth with the addition of six new member companies

Included in the collection of new companies are Consonus, Emtec, GeoTrust, Network Guidance, Trilogy, and Wipro Technology.
Conosonus (consonus.com), says the association, provides business continuity for data through managed hosting and network provisioning services. Emtec Inc. (emtecinc.com) provides enterprise infrastructure design and implementation as well as a number of network management and related services. GeoTrust (GeoTrust.com) is a provider of identity and managed enterprise security solutions. Network Guidance (network-guidance.com) is a managed IT services company. Trilogy (tcsa.com.au) provides a combined solution of on-site technical support with systems integration and remote IT management solutions. Wipro Technologies (wipro.com/tis) is a provider of it services to fortune 500 companies.
The MSP Association says it works toward defining and promoting quality of service in managing select IT functions via the Internet.
"The continued growth of new members in the consortium shows that the MSP Association has been successful in establishing itself as a leader with the association's service management quality initiative (SMQI) program that promotes the adoption of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices as the framework for managing complex IT environments," says Linda Shannon-Hills, Chairperson of the MSP Association. "This best practice framework is quickly becoming the worldwide standard for quality service delivery."
