The company also said its customer base has grown 100 percent year-over-year, and that revenues had doubled. "Hostway's growth is the result of its industry leading value and strong understanding of the needs of small- and medium-sized businesses," said John Lee, director of marketing for Hostway, and added that the company expected its growth pattern to continue. Hostway said more than one third of its new customers were coming from client referrals, and that it continued to add staff as a result of its continued growth. Founded in 1996, the company, which specializes in providing Web hosting services to small and medium-sized businesses, opened operation centers in Korea and England in 2000 and 2002 respectively.
