Jul, 2002 : HP, Marconi Deliver IT Solutitons to Latin America

📅 July 3, 2002 - Telecommunications solution provider Marconi PLC (marconi.com) and technology developer HP (hp.com) announced on Wednesday that the companies have signed a joint teaming agreement between each of their Central American and Latin American (CALA) operations.

The companies say the agreement allows them to partner with each other to jointly deliver products and services to customers in the region, broadening the portfolio of solutions that each company is able to provide.
"Marconi's product and service offerings compliment those of HP very well," says Fausto Dedeschi, HP's NSP director for the Latin American region. "By combining the networking expertise of Marconi with the systems integration and operations support systems capabilities of HP, customers in Latin America will have access to a breadth of strong technical solutions."
According to the terms of the agreement, Marconi will provide its optical, broadband, switching, access and power product families, while HP provides systems and network management integration, operations support systems, network operations center and billing services.
