📅 - Internet security solution provider Symantec Corp. (symantec.com) announced on Wednesday that two of its executives will discuss Internet security at the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) International Conference in New York.
Symantec Security Response senior product manager Dee Liebenstein will present "New Information Security Threat," from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 8. She will explore the nature of today's blended threats, computer worms and viruses and how the threats might evolve in the future, as well as addressing the need for comprehensive security solutions to protect computer systems from future attacks. Vice president and chief technology officer at Symantec, Rob Clyde, will present "Secure Mobile Computing: Arming the Road Warrior for Battle," from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10. Clyde will explore new technology for the remote user, addressing the security concerns that come along with it. He will also discuss mobile security policies and technologies for safe computing. The ISACA International Conference, says Symantec, is recognized for providing in-depth coverage of leading technical and managerial issues faced by IT governance, control security and assurance professionals. The conference is to be held June 7 to 10 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York.
