Jul 16, 2002 : Plesk Relocates to Larger Facilities
📅 - Automated Web hosting software provider Plesk Inc. (plesk.com) announced on Tuesday that it has relocated its operations to significantly larger facilities due to the rapid adoption of the company's Plesk Server Administrator platform.
The considerably larger facilities, says Plesk, will allow the company to more quickly expand its sakes, engineering, support and marketing teams.
"Our customers continue to thrive despite difficult market conditions," says George Pappas, president and CEO of Plesk. "This is a true testimonial to the real-world results of PSA, in which our success is truly dependent on the valuable contribution that we make to our customers' business by allowing them to work more efficiently while reducing the churn of their own customers. With more than 16,000 documented PSA licenses, we outpace the industry and cast a long shadow on our competitors."
Plesk says its PSA platform is dominant in the medium-sized Web hosting market, which research organization IDC expects to generate $7.8 billion by 2004.
And according to Plesk, the company's customers include such companies as Rackspace Managed Hosting, Dialtone Internet, Affinity Internet, Hostway Corp. and Everyone's Internet.
The company says it expects to surpass the mark of 1 million domains under management this year from the current total of 600,000 domains.
