📅 - Managed service provider Digex Incorporated (digex.com) announced on Monday that it has been given a CIO-100 award from IDG's CIO magazine for technology and process integration.
The award, says Digex, recognizes organizations excelling in positive business performance through integrated processes and technologies.
Digex says the focus of the CIO-100 changes each year in order to provide a vision of changing business trends. This year, the magazine is recognizing 100 companies that demonstrate integrated technologies and procedures to improve their products and services, as well as relationships with partners and clients.
Digex says it won the award based on its successful implementation of CRM, sourcing, supply chain and knowledge management initiatives. The company-wide implementation of these projects and their integration with Digex's ClientCentral customer portal allows Diged to achieve greater customer and employee satisfaction.
"Winning the CIO 100 Award is a confirmation of Digex's vision of getting close to our clients and having a 360-degree view of their business," said Scott Carcillo, CIO of Digex. "We have designed our systems to improve client interaction, streamline delivery and improve our operating costs. We are pleased to be recognized as a leader and innovator in this area."
The 2002 CIO-100 is featured in the August 15 issue of CIO magazine.
