📅 September 6, 2002 - Shared Web hosting solution provider FatCow Web Hosting (FatCow.com ) announced on Thursday that the company has formed a partnership with search engine submission tools provider NetMechanic (netmechanic.com).

FatCow says the partnership allows it to offer comprehensive Web site promotion and marketing tools to its 15,000 customers.
"With our new offerings, FatCow Web Hosting customers can now easily improve the performance of their Web sites in the top 100 search engines," says Jackie Fewell, FatCow's CEO. "Our goal is to help our customers succeed online. By providing easy to use, cost effective, reliable tools, FatCow customers have everything they need to develop and market their Web sites. "
The new Search Engine Starter and Search Engine Power Pack options from FatCow are designed to help site builders boost Web traffic through a variety of methods, including automated submission to the top 100 search engines, keyword selection and tracking and reporting tools.
FatCow's new HTML Tool Box option provides monthly testing of up to 400 pages for broken links, download time, browser compatibility, HTML code errors and spelling errors. The Tool Box offers the repair of HTML files and one-click reporting.
