level3.com logo📅 - Communications company Level 3 Communication (Level3.com) announced on Thursday that it has signed an agreement to provide Internet access services to online marketplace eBay Inc. (ebay.com).

According to Level 3, eBay is using Internet access from Level 3 to deliver its services to its customer base of almost 62 million registered members, who use the service to buy and sell goods and services over the Internet. The deal makes Level 3 one of eBay's primary providers of bandwidth.
"eBay has been called the perfect store," said Kevin O'Hara, president and COO for Level 3. "Last year, people around the world used eBay to consummate transactions valued at approximately $15 billion, making eBay one of the most successful e-commerce companies anywhere. We are very pleased they have chosen Level 3 as a network provider and look forward to working with them to deliver a reliable, satisfying online experience to their members."
eBay is using Level 3's (3)CrossRoads service, which connects Level 3's customers and network in the US and Europe with the networks that make up the public Internet.
Bertman and Poole are scheduled to be sentenced April 18, and are facing decades of prison time.
