📅 - BlueStar Solutions (bluestarsolutions.com), a leading enterprise application outsourcing provider, announced yesterday that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Agilera, Inc. (messagingonline.com), a full-service application service provider based in Englewood, Colorado.
With the addition of Agilera's service offerings, BlueStar Solutions now offers hosting services for a much wider array of enterprise applications, including major packaged ERP solutions, messaging solutions, and an array of technology services to support them. Customers can select from a variety of solutions or choose to outsource more of their IT operations to a single provider thus extending and enhancing their derived outsourcing benefits. In addition, customers will have an easier transition path should they elect to either add new ERP solutions or migrate to a new ERP solution as their company's needs evolve.
The combined organization will be staffing corporate data centers and technical centers of expertise in Phoenix, Arizona, Columbia, South Carolina and Dallas, Texas. This expansion results in more delivery options for customers and provides additional backup facilities for those customers interested in extended high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Agilera shareholders will exchange their shares for shares of BlueStar Solutions, and Agilera will become a wholly owned subsidiary of BlueStar Solutions. The combined company will be headquartered in Cupertino, California.
