📅 April 3, 2003 - Hurricane Electric (he.net ), a technical service provider providing services in colocation, dedicated servers, direct Internet connections and Web hosting, announced today that Tiger Technologies (tigertech.net ), a Web hosting company based in Oakland, California, has selected Hurricane Electric as their premier colocation provider.

"Our customers count on us to make sure their Web sites are up, which means we need the most reliable colocation service available," said Robert Mathews, president of Tiger Technologies. "We know we can count on Hurricane Electric to provide the connectivity we need, now and in the future."
Tiger Technologies says it has grown dramatically in the last three years as have their colocation needs. In the last six months, the company has tripled the amount of bandwidth they use for hosting over 3,500 Web sites.
