📅 - Web hosting provider Basiclink (basiclink.com) announced on Wednesday it was recently awarded a free, two-day Times Square ad by Dell Computer's Small Business Division (http://www.dell.com) as part of an online contest asking small business owners to express why "your business deserves an ad in Times Square."


Business owners were asked to submit a graphic depicting their business and a short statement of less than 50 characters which would complete the statement 'We believeā€¦'. The San Diego, California-based Web host entered the contest with the statement 'We Believe in Real Web Hosting, Beyond Expectation.', and included a graphic specifically designed for the contest.

The contest entries were judged in the criterias of 25 percent originality, 25 percent expression of theme, 25 percent clarity of statement and 25 percent quality of the photo. Basiclink's slogan refers to the origins of a true Web host. It also reflects Basiclink's commitment to clients such as the Cohn Restaurant Group, Village Hat Shop, Skin Industries, Backwoods, Beauty First, Southern California Yachts and EBI.

"The Ad is testament to our creative team's ability to deliver world class graphics and copy for Web sites and even Times Square billboards," says Bryant Seely, director of marketing for Basiclink. "We're a small business that helps small business succeed, so we are honored that Dell would recognize that talent."
