The 960X features various redundancy attributes that, according to the company, enable it to achieve maximum uptime. The 960X features dual Intel Xeon processors, up to 8GB of ECC (error-correcting) memory, four ultra 320 SCSI hot-swap drive bays, an optional redundant 450W power supply, two 5 1/4" available peripheral bays, six PCI slots (four of which are PCI-X) and integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet for networked environments. The server comes standard in a tower case but can also be converted into a 5U rack-mount option.
