📅 - U.S. NetworX (usnx.com) announced this week the acquisition of GMI.net (gmi.net), a Clarksdale, Mississippi-based Web hosting provider.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. "We?re confident that our clients will continue to receive the hands-on personal service and attention they?ve always enjoyed," said Floyd Graham, CEO of GMI.net. "And they can also take advantage of the other services offered by U.S. NetworX, such as Internet marketing, Web site maintenance, and nationwide Internet access." Graham also said he was confident in the long-term stability of U.S. NetworX as well as their reputation for quality customer care. U.S. NetworX provides business services, Web site marketing, Web site design, hosting, dedicated servers, dial-up and ISDN Internet access. "We presently have clients in 37 states, and we do our best to treat each one as if they?re the most important client we have," said David Crawford, CEO of U.S. NetworX. "We?re very excited about providing Web site hosting and other services to the customers of GMI.net." GMI.net was established in 1996 and has a wide variety of e-commerce and brick-and-mortar clients, according to U.S. NetworX.
