👈 Official Responses: 1), a Web hosting provider based in Brookfield, Connecticut, said yesterday it has been selected to provide domain registration and Web hosting services to UsedBoats.com (usedboats.com), a Web site that experienced over one million searches in the month of July.

UsedBoats.com said it had reached the limits of its existing hosting arrangement and decided on Web.com after factoring simplicity, cost, service and technology. "We talked to a number of hosting companies before we found Web.com and they were the only ones who met our dual criteria," said Mark Horne, president of UsedBoats.com. "First, we needed a company with the infrastructure and bandwidth to host our customer sites as we move toward linking thousands of boat dealers. Second, when we looked at the costs to 'dot.com' a name, we found Web.com's domain registration to be around 75% lower than most."
Customer service was also a key factor in the decision to go with Web.com.
"Not only did they beat everybody on value, the service has been fabulous," added Horne. "We had four companies bidding on our business, and when we talked with Web.com it was clear they were the only choice."
According to UsedBoats.com, another benefit of Web.com is its capacity for delivering new and functional Web-based features for site visitors.
Web.com has server facilities in New York and California.
